This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Tom Jackobs. Tom has an incredible entrepreneurial story and that’s fitting because he’s devoted his life to helping entrepreneurs and business create more opportunity and sales through story-telling.
Tom quit his job to buy a personal training franchise and was broke in 6 months. It was in the moment of just about losing it all that he realized his biggest flaw was he didn’t know how to sell, so he devoted himself to becoming a great salesperson and brought the business back from the brink going on to create millions of dollars in sales in his future businesses and programs. Tom realized that the key to effective selling was that it was process, but telling the right story was the main component. He now operates Impact Pilot, a firm that helps entrepreneurs generate more income through better sales strategy and using stories to sell.
I’ve always believed that selling through story is the best way and I’ve asked Tom to come on share how we can make the most of it in our businesses.

Many years ago, I introduced a new format that alongside our regular episodes called “Lessons for Hannah.” Hannah is my daughter and one of the main inspirations for the Misfit Entrepreneur. I wanted to have a place where she could go and learn from her daddy and his Misfit friends throughout her life….even after I am gone. If you haven’t listened to the first episode of "Lessons for Hannah," I urge you to as it gives some more background and tells the amazing story of how Hannah came to be in our lives.
Lessons for Hannah are short, very useful, and sometimes comical lessons, that I want to share with you and give to Hannah to help in your lives. Because I want Hannah to have these for her life, I’m going to speak as though I am talking directly to her. These episodes are a lot of fun and if you think there is a lesson that we should include in these episodes, please don’t hesitate to send it over to us at support@misfitentrepreneur.com. We’d love to share it.

This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Pavel Stuchlik. Pavel, also known as NOA|AON, is a professional cyclist turned serial 7-figure entrepreneur and investor. As an entrepreneur, Pavel made his first million before the age of 21 and successfully launched, scaled, and exited many brands, including Orange Theory Fitness. On top of that, Pavel is also an internationally conscious DJ and producer who heals others by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
Pavel’s mission is to bring people back to their center in union with others through his movement, #noamovement. This movement was born after spending long 10 days in complete darkness in south-east Asia which was one of the most difficult and transformative moments Pavel has experienced.
Needless to say, Pavel has led a very interesting life both as an entrepreneur and spiritually and thought was the perfect Misfit to come on discuss how to blend the two and achieve your trust potential.

This week’s Misfit Entrepreneur is Orrin Klopper. Orrin is the CEO of Netsurit, a company he co-founded 24 years ago during the lead-up to Y2K that provides managed IT services. In that time, he has grown the business to over $40 million in revenue through acquisitions and organic growth.
He is also very active in the EO and YPO organizations and has a master’s in Entrepreneurship from MIT which is interesting considered he was expelled from 3 schools as a kid.
Orrin has built an incredible enterprise and played the long-game in doing so and those are just some of the topics I want to cover with him in this episode.
